Hybrid watermelon with an enlongated oval shape and an average weight of 10kg. The striated green skin has a good consistency and well suited to long transportations and storage. It is cultivated all over Italy, especially in Emilia Romagna, Puglia, Lazio, Sicilia, Lombardia, Campania and Veneto. It is usually eaten fresh or used as ingredient in fruit salads, jams, marmalades, dessert, sorbets and ice creams. Furthermore, this type of watermelon it’s particularly suitable in slimming diets because of its filling feature and the low calorie intake. It contains a good amount of A Vitamin, C Vitamin and Potassium.

Crimson Sweet variety hybrid, with the most requested characteristics on the market. It differs from Crimson series by its oblong shape, very sweet flesh, the absence of fibrous and by the deep internal color. Particularly resistant to decoloration of the skin, the fruits have an average weight of 12 Kg with a high caliber uniformity along the entire harvest period. That’s a crop of great vigor and hardiness, an average cycle with a harvest of 85 days from the transplanting, very productive.

Medium-early variety characterized by bulky and roundish fruits weighing 10-12 Kg, light green colored with green streaks; bright red flesh.

Early hybrid with a yellow flesh and an excellent flavor. The fruits of this vigorous plant have an average weight of 3.5 Kg and a good preservation that favor its transportability.

Mini watermelon hybrid with a uniform size in 2.5 kg. It’s a bright green round fruit with pronounced stripes and a excellent tolerance to cracking. It has a crunchy deep red flash, it’s very juicy and a high Brix level. It contains a small number of little seeds. The vigorous plant, has a precocious cycle and can be cultivated in both in greenhouses and open fields. The high fruit set ensures abundant production in investments from 6,000 to 8,000 plants per hectare.

FRUIT: Ellipsoidal-cylindrical shaped fruits, with persistent yellow-brown bristly skin. Flash color varies from jade green to emerald.

ORIGIN: Hayward K natural mutation obtained in province of Ravenna.
FORCEFULNESS: Similar to the Hayward.
GERMINATION PERIOD: Delayed (Anticipates the Hayward up to 2 days).
FRUIT: Large size quality Kiwi (similar to the Hayward) with excellent organoleptic features; Compared to Hayward it has la lower acidity level after conservation.
STORAGE: Tested up to the following February.
HARVEST PERIOD: Premature, September 20/30 (7°Brix between September 5 and 15).
